In his book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey wisely described the Seventh Habit: Sharpen the Saw, as the necessary principal of what he called, “Balanced Self-Renewal”. He simply described the importance of preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have–YOU.

Our WELL commitment is designed to offer expanding tools and support for integrating this “balanced self-renewal” into all aspects of our lives through focus on four different areas we’ve labeled as: Heart (Service, Empathy, Synergy), Body (Exercise, Nutrition, Sleep, Stress Management), Mind (Reading, Visualizing, Planning, Writing), and Spirit (Value Clarification & Commitment, Meditation).
